Training at Schmetterling Reisen – Would you like to join our team?

We are a traditional family business based in Obertrubach, Franconia. 

For thousands of people on their way to work, shopping, or leisure activities, we are the largest alternative provider in the Nuremberg/Fürth/Erlangen metropolitan region.

As a strong and reliable employer in the region, we place great importance on good training and have our own traffic academy with a driving school.

Our training positions:

Training as a professional driver

  • You can expect a young, motivated team in a medium-sized, future-oriented company with 250 employees. You will work with state-of-the-art tools and materials.
  • Professional drivers work in freight transport or passenger transport. They transport goods using all types of trucks. In passenger transport, they drive buses and coaches.
  • Requirements for this training:
    • Applications from secondary school graduates
    • High motivation, good grades, school diploma (school level not decisive)
    • You should be at least 17 years old, as a bus driver's license will be obtained as part of the training.
    • A Class B driver's license is mandatory

Training as a specialist in transport operations

Your responsibilities:

  • Learning all the tasks of a dispatcher for passenger transport
  • Learning how to safely operate all types of vehicles and buses (including Class DE driver's license)
  • Planning tours
  • Classification of persons/vehicles
  • Checking driving and rest times
  • Taking over bottlenecks in service
  • fare management
  • Ensuring smooth driving operations

Your profile:

  • High school diploma preferred
  • Interest in commercial and technical activities should be present.
